Ann was discovered in her performance in the Vogue Magazine Fashion Show by Gloria Schiff. Within a week editor-in-chief Diana Vreeland had Ann shoot her first Vogue cover with photographer Richard Avedon. Ann was among America's most well-known models, appearing on the covers of top magazines like Vogue Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and numerous other magazines. Two years later, Ann hit the international markets modeling successfully throughout Europe and Japan in the role of face for big brands in the cosmetic industry like Max Factor Revlon and Chanel.
